As I watch the horrible images come through the TV, there are no words for what I feel. So much pointless loss of life, destruction of worlds, and for what? This piece has been cycling through my head on repeat over the past couple weeks. It is the only thing that can express just how bad I feel for the people of Ukraine. I hope that it somehow serves as a mantra, a prayer, some kind of comfort to those who cannot be comforted.
